Mother Beefs Up N.Y. Staff

NEW YORK Mother has beefed up its staff here, including three recent additions to its 16-person creative department.

Bill Moulton, 33, a former art director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, was responsible for campaigns for Axe, Johnnie Walker, British Airways and Levi’s.

Piers North, 30, comes from Mother’s London headquarters, where he was an art director working on accounts such as Orange, Boots, Coca-Cola, Amnesty International and Miller Brewing.

Peter Karras, 26, previously designed posters and book jackets and helped produce radio spots for clients such as Soft Skull Press, Soil Art Collective and the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.

Mother has also added David Fuller, 36, as a strategist, Stephanie Rand as a creative manager and Christopher Pieretti, 30, tasked with keeping the strategists and creatives on schedule.

“We have an intense and lengthy screening process for new hires at Mother, with each person handpicked by all of us. Bill, as well as David, Peter, Piers, Stephanie and Chris, all emanate a palpable passion for exceptional creativity. But it’s what their diverse talents bring to our table that’s the most important as we seek to solve our clients unique business challenges,” the agency said in a statement.
