Young & Rubicam has added project work for Mattel’s My Scene line without a review, sources said. The WPP shop in Irvine, Calif., handles several brands for the toy maker, including Hot Wheels and Flavas. Mattel spent about $20 million on advertising for My Scene last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus. Independent Peterson Milla Hooks in Minneapolis handled the tween-targeted line of dolls and other products until mid-2003.
