Havas’ Arnold continues to make leadership moves as it attempts to recast itself as a worldwide micro-network.
Toward that end, the Boston-based agency has named a global strategic leadership team, with Neela Pal, Lisa Borden and Frank Sanni as directors.
Pal will guide business and brand strategy globally, an extension of her existing North American role at Arnold.
Borden co-leads a team focused on collecting and analyzing people and cultural insights. She has 15 years of experience at various agencies, including Chiat\Day, McCann Erickson and, most recently, Hill Holliday.
Sanni is responsible for insights and strategy across digital and integrated marketing. For three years, he led strategy and creative at a digital studio he co-founded after agency stops at Amster Yard, DiNoto Lee and Euro RSCG.
The trio reports to Arnold CEO Andrew Benett, who also serves as overall chief strategy officer of Havas. “By bringing in new stars and promoting our top talent from within, we are elevating our strategic planning game,” Benett said.
Benett joined Arnold in February from Havas sibling Euro RSCG. He quickly named Euro RSCG veteran Nick Dutton managing partner to oversee the shop’s global expansion.
After a slump that lasted about 18 months, Arnold has enjoyed some new-business success of late, adding assignments from Panasonic, Huntington Bank, Mike’s Hard Lemonade and drug firm Boiron since late ’09.
