Monster Products will make its Big Game debut in Super Bowl LII, with a 30-second spot starring rapper Iggy Azalea.
The audio brand announced Azalea as its new spokesperson this Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and Azalea later revealed the Super Bowl collaboration. In a subsequent Instagram post, the Australian rapper wrote that she was “beyond excited” to work with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Monster Products founder and CEO Noel Lee and couldn’t wait for their Super Bowl commercial. A longtime brand partner, Perry collaborated with the brand on its new The Sound of Rock line.
Monster Europe also tweeted about the announcement, adding that Azalea would help launch the brand’s new Airlinks Elements wireless headphones, presumably the product being promoted in the Super Bowl spot.
Adweek reached out to Monster Products about the announcement but has yet to receive a response.
The ad will follow the Feb. 1 release of Azalea’s new single “Savior” and reportedly feature the track, while clocking in at 30-seconds, according to Daily Mail Australia.
