CHICAGO The PGA of America has awarded advertising duties for its 2006 Championship at the Medina (Ill.) Country Club to Mobium Creative Group after a review involving six undisclosed shops, according to the agency.

The Chicago-based business-to-business agency will develop print, interactive, broadcast and outdoor advertising for the 2006 event. Work will begin this fall, with an effort geared toward corporate group sales, according to Gordon Hochhalter, a partner at Mobium. The agency’s specialization in b-to-b advertising was an advantage when it came to targeting those corporate accounts, he said.
