Analyzing data it amassed during the past 12 months, Euro RSCG Worldwide concludes that men no longer experience 40 as “the symbolic representation of ‘over the hill’ “—or even as the halfway point in their lives. “All around the world, respondents deemed one’s 50s and 60s the years when men reach the pinnacles in their careers, but the 40s are when they begin to get a pretty good sense of how far they are going to be able to go.”
