MITX Partners With Holland Mark

BOSTON Holland Mark said it would craft a multi-year effort for the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange, an industry group that focuses on digital marketing and media issues.

“Our job is to help them achieve greater awareness and to work with their leadership to forge a path for the brand that is at the cutting edge of the digital world,” said Chris Colbert, the agency’s CEO.

“In the early ’90s, Holland Mark was one of the first agencies in the region to really invest in the digital space. Their return to the market and our desire to elevate the MITX brand and vision seemed like a perfect confluence,” said Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX.

Boston-based Holland Mark grew into one of the region’s largest independents during the 1990s but closed its doors in 2001. It was re-launched this year by Colbert, who had been a key player in the original shop’s success. Other agency clients include the American Cancer Society, Benjamin Franklin Bank and Fidelity Investments, among others.

MITX spending through the shop was not disclosed.
