BOSTON Mintz & Hoke has established the Alan Mintz Public Service Grant and invites nonprofit organizations to submit applications in order to qualify for pro-bono communications work from the independent shop.

Prospective applicants should log onto www.grant.mintz-hoke.com for further information.

The plan is to do one campaign under the grant program at any given time, but the agency has not ruled out multiple efforts. The deadline for submissions is June 17.

Avon, Conn.-based Mintz & Hoke had previously done such work based on referrals or specific employee interests.
