CHICAGO–Bozell Kamstra was named agency of record for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
The Eagan, Minn., company awarded its $2 million account to the Minneapolis agency after a review that included Colle & McVoy Marketing Communications, Gabriel Diericks Razidlo and Periscope Marketing Communications. Incumbent Foley Sackett did not participate, officials said.
Company representative Mark Heymans said client officials were impressed with BK’s research and understanding of complex healthcare issues.
Agency general manager Bill Koontz noted the shop utilized all parts of its network–including its direct marketing operation and its SixtyFootSpider interactive unit, to reel in the account.
