DALLAS Taco Cabana is reviewing agencies to handle media chores on its estimated $8 million account, the client confirmed.

The San Antonio-based dining chain expects to complete the review next week, according to client senior vice president of brand development Brian Maysent. Although Maysent declined to name the participating shops, he said incumbent Media Rare Co. in Pflugerville, Texas, and creative incumbent WestWayne in Atlanta are not involved.

“We’re looking for additional resources to help us better target our customer and work with our creative partner WestWayne in doing a thorough job of strategic planning and targeting,” Maysent said.
