Merry Maids Taps Archer>Malmo

ATLANTA Archer>Malmo has won Merry Maids’ advertising account following a review that included several other, undisclosed agencies, the shop said.

Billings were not disclosed. The franchiser of residential cleaning services spent $2 million on advertising in 2003 and $1 million during the first six months of this year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Memphis, Tenn., independent Archer>Malmo has been providing public relations services for Merry Maids for the past five years, as well as creating advertising for four other divisions of its parent company, ServiceMaster in Downers Grove, Ill.

Merry Maids has 1,400 franchises worldwide, with more than 900 in the U.S.
