MD+A Backs Local Thunder

BOSTON McCabe Duval + Associates said it has launched a campaign touting’s new Local ThunderSM platform.

Efforts from the Portland, Maine-based agency use the line “It’s coming” and take the form of print ads running in media-industry magazines, as well as a logo, stationery and postcards. The work prominently features stark photography of lightning in a black sky and copy that positions the product as “The online profit center for local media.”

“The compelling visuals provided an attention-getting way to reach potential clients,” said client marketing manager Jennifer Van Der Werf.

The product itself is designed to help broadcasters and cable companies expand their online marketing efforts in community markets.

The budget for the work was not disclosed but is likely in the low- to mid-six figures.
