CHICAGO Plumbing fixtures manufacturer Moen has awarded its $10 million account to MARC USA, according to sources.

The independent Pittsburgh agency bested three other shops for the account: Omnicom Group’s Martin/Williams and Interpublic Group’s Campbell Mithun, both in Minneapolis, and Havas’ McKinney + Silver in Raleigh, N.C. Moen’s 12-year incumbent agency, independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago, did not participate.

Shops were asked to present strategic ideas centered on the North Olmstead, Ohio, company’s longtime tagline, “Buy it for looks.
