McD’s Group Swaps Arnold for Moroch

CHICAGO Moroch Partners has added the McDonald’s local marketing group in Rochester, N.Y., the agency confirmed.

The company’s local marketing group, which covers 46 stores in the area, previously worked with Havas’ Arnold in Boston, a relationship that extended 30 years. Moroch, based in Dallas, will handle strategic, creative and media duties for the co-op.

“We are excited about the opportunity to bring our local market expertise to the Rochester area,” said Rob Boswell, Moroch president and COO, in a statement. “Moroch has built an affinity with the McDonald’s brand in markets across the U.S for 25 years, and continuing to add to our roster shows we must be doing something right.”

The account becomes the 53rd local market handled by Moroch. To absorb the business, the shop will open an office in Rochester under the supervision of Heidi Baumer, who was previously a management supervisor at Arnold.

Billings on the account were not disclosed.
