CHICAGO – McDonald’s Corp. is accelerating its expansion of its Leaps & Bounds childrens’ play centers, doubling its projections of the fledgling chain’s size by the end of the year. The company, which has been testing the concept in four Milwaukee and Chicago locations, plans to have 30-35 Leaps & Bounds units open in major U.S. markets by 1994, up from a previous goal of 10-15.
