McCann Worldgroup has acquired AllofUs, a U.K. interactive design agency that has worked for media and entertainment clients like the BBC, BSkyB, Canal+ and Xbox in addition to technology marketers that include Nokia, Microsoft and Yota.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. AllofUs’s co-founders Nick Cristea, design director; Orlando Mathias, director of R&D; Simon Sankarayya, art director and Phil Gerrard, business director, retain those roles. The London agency, established in 2003, will remain a stand-alone unit and will initially work closely with McCann Worldgroup’s London offices of McCann Erickson, MRM and Momentum. AllofUs is also expected to partner with McCann N.Y. and London chief creative officer Linus Karlsson and Matias Palm-Jensen, McCann Erickson’s chief innovation officer for Europe, on other projects.
In addition to AllofUs’s work for web, product and service, user interface and mobile platforms, the agency creates interactive interiors for physical environments like event, exhibition and retail spaces. Among those projects is work for Tate Britain, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum in London.
