McCann Makes N.Y., London Appointments

NEW YORK Interpublic Group’s McCann-Erickson has signed Brett Gosper as general manager of its flagship New York office and Rupert Howell as chairman of its London office, an agency representative confirmed.

A native of Australia, Gosper, 42, joins McCann’s $3 billion New York operations from Havas’ Euro RSCG in London, where he was co-chairman of that office with Mark Wnek, a top creative. Euro is undergoing a worldwide restructuring and sources said Gosper was supposed to move to Euro’s New York office in a global role, working with Euro worldwide chairman and chief executive Bob Schmetterer.
