A new golf ball designed by rocket scientists to soar like a moon shot is the subject of new TV and print ads from Mat thews/Mark for Callaway Golf Co.

The HX ball will be introduced beginning March 15 with TV spots during major golf tournaments and on the Golf Channel, said agency chairman and CEO Jim Matthews. He said the ball was designed with the help of aerospace engineers, who developed a hexagonal pattern with the dimples that has been shown to achieve a longer flight.
