Mass Energy Enlists KSV

BOSTON Kelliher Samets Volk said it has added the Massachusetts Energy Consumers Alliance for advertising and marketing communications services.

The independent shop in Burlington, Vt., was tapped without a review to serve as Mass Energy’s first lead agency. Spending by the non-profit group was not disclosed.

A mix of online and offline work will break on Earth Day, April 22. The goal is to encourage enrollment for New England Greenstart, a renewable energy program available to National Grid customers in Rhode Island, where Mass Energy does business as People’s Power and Light. (In the last year, over 10,000 members have participated in its green power programs.)

KSV is one of Northern New England’s largest independent shops, employing 70 staffers in Burlington, Boston and New York. (The agency recently produced work for Efficiency Vermont that featured a singing, guitar-strumming energy-saving light bulb.)
