CHICAGO Regional wireless company Cellular South has awarded its advertising account to Omnicom Group’s Martin/Williams after a review, the agency confirmed.

The Minneapolis shop will handle all advertising and marketing communications for the Jackson, Miss., client, which provides services in five Southeastern states. The company’s last known agency was independent Cramer-Krasselt of Chicago.

“[We’re] excited about being part of Cellular South’s plans for the future,” said agency CEO Tom Moudry, in a statement. “There was a strong connection between our two organizations and I know that there’s going to be some great creative work coming out of our partnership.”
