Martin/Williams Adds a Pair of Top Account Executives

Martin/Williams Advertising has added two top account executives who together will oversee the agency’s U.S. Bank account.
John Karlson joins the Minneapolis shop from crosstown agency Carmichael Lynch, where he was a senior partner and group account director. In addition to overseeing strategy for U.S. Bank, he will be in charge of the shop’s account planning and market intelligence departments.
Jim Silburn was named management supervisor, running day-to-day work on U.S. Bank and managing the account team for the client. He was previously an account director at Fallon McElligott, also in Minneapolis.
M/W recently revamped its executive structure, dropping a five-member management concept and naming Steve Collins president.
