Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has named Daniel Dienst as its new chief executive in the company’s third CEO change in less than three years.

Dienst recently joined the MSLO board, but he might not be the first person who comes to mind to run the upscale lifestyle company; he most recently was the CEO of Sims Metal Management, a scrap metal recycling company, a post he held from 2008 to 2013. But in a statement, MSLO founder Martha Stewart noted Dienst’s experience as a public company CEO with “operating and financial discipline” and track record for creating value for shareholders.
