Marketing Drive Founders Launch Mynamics

BOSTON Mark Timbrell and Wes Bray have formed Mynamics, a marketing company that specializes in developing messages targeting consumers’ mobile phones.

Timbrell heads the London office and Bray works out of Essex, Conn. The startup has seven total employees.

The two are co-founders and former co-chief executives of Interpublic Group’s Marketing Drive in Wilton, Conn.

Their new venture will attempt to “provide a technology that enables marketers to implement mobile phone programs not only across carriers, but also continents,” said Timbrell.

Mynamics plans to work directly with client companies as well as through advertising and promotions agencies to integrate mobile phone messages into their broader marketing plans, he said.

Mynamics launches with clients such as radio broadcast concern Entercom Access. The agency will create a series of interactive programs for Entercom stations involving text messages sent to mobile phones, among other elements.
