PITTSBURGH – DeBartolo Corporation, Youngstown, Ohio, a large shopping mall management and development company, is launching a back-to-school consumer promotional and merchandising program co-sponsored with Crystal Pepsi on Aug. 2. The program is offered in 60 DeBartolo mall properties nationwide where consumer will receive 12-ounce cans of Crystal Pepsi in Crystal Pepsi Cool Zone booths and ‘Back to Cool’ savings cards good for discounts at mall stores. Shoppers who spend $100 or more during the month of August will receive a free compact disc developed in conjunction with Billboard magazine. A ‘Back-To-Cool’ sweepstakes will award prizes in each mall. Marc Advertising, Pittsburgh, created the promotion and supporting TV, radio and newspaper campaign.
