After dropping Lois/US.A as its creative agency, ESPN has hired Wieden & Kennedy of Nike fame to develop a new on-air and off-ah’ look for all its advertising and promotion. ESPN also retained BJK&E Media, Bozell’s standalone media unit, to handle the planning and placement for the new effort. John Lack, ESPN’s executive vp/programming and marketing, said there’s a strong chance Wieden & Kennedy might also get involved with the sports net on programming ventures.
