DALLAS G. King Logan, CEO and president of Logan Marketing & Communications, received the Crescent Award at a ceremony last Friday, the shop said.

The Crescent Award is presented annually to a person in the advertising community who has contributed time and resources to improving the city of New Orleans. Sponsored by local radio station WWL 870 AM, an independent panel of judges selected Logan as the 2004 honoree.

Logan, 52, founded the New Orleans-based agency in 1990 after serving as president of Maris, West & Baker for five years.
