Liquor Retailer Awards Marketing to Monogram

CHICAGO Iconic Windy City liquor store Sam’s Wines & Spirits has named The Monogram Group as its lead advertising agency after a short review, according to the shop.

The Chicago independent agency will handle all marketing for the client, including advertising and media buying for the store’s locations in Chicago and Downers Grove, Ill. Billings on the account were estimated at $1 million.

“Our company has reached a point where we couldn’t do everything in-house; we needed a plan to integrate all of our marketing and branding activities so that each feeds off of the other,” said Darryl Rosen, president of Sam’s Wines & Spirits, in a statement. “Among the companies we reviewed, The Monogram Group understood how important it was to analyze our sales patterns, conduct store intercepts and match them against not only who our existing customers are, but also where we can find new avenues of business.”
