LINING UP

“There’s no place for abuse in any religion,” proclaims a new print ad by PlowShare Group. Beneath these words, images of religious symbols appear in a row, such as a cross and a Star of David. “… Or anywhere else,” continues the copy.

The work, for the West chester County District Attorney’s Office in New York, encourages victims of abuse to contact law-enforcement officials. The execution then provides a phone number for abuse victims to call. The Westchester County District Attorney is Jeanine Pirro.

“We wanted to make sure that everyone had immediate access to law enforcement on this particular issue,” said David Hébert, a representative for Pirro, noting that the ad seeks to convey its message without singling out any specific group.

The work broke recently in Gannett Co. news papers in West chester County, such as The Journal News.

The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office is based in White Plains, N.Y., and has eight other offices in West chester County. PlowShare is based in Stamford, Conn.
