DETROIT — Ford Motor Co. has announced that is relocating its Lincoln Mercury division from Irvine, Calif. back to Dearborn, Mich., in the summer of 2003.

Lincoln Mercury President Darryl Hazel informed employees of the move during a meeting Friday morning. About 90 Ford employees currently work in Irvine for Lincoln Mercury.

It is expected that Young & Rubicam, which relocated dozens of employees from Dearborn to Irvine in 1998 when the automaker moved out to California, will follow the client back to Michigan.
