As if asking for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage weren’t nerve-racking enough, Nate Marriner decided to do it with the cameras rolling. The latest eHarmony.com TV spot from Donat/Wald of Santa Monica, Calif., captures Marriner’s real-life on-set proposal to Angela Stizza, who was taken by surprise—and who, thank goodness, said yes.

The pair met through the online dating service, and were already scheduled to appear in the spot. But Marriner had grander plans. He arranged with eHarmony to surprise Stizza, arrived with an engagement ring in his pocket, and made his speech as the crew taped.
