Lexmark International has awarded its Web site redesign assignment to Nascent State, a New York-based i-shop. Nascent State will work with Lexmark’s traditional branding agency, The Ocean Group (formerly Warwick Baker O’Neill), to integrate the Lexington, Ky.-based printer manufacturer’s brand identity online.

“It’s a top to bottom redesign of the existing Lexmark site,” said Mike Knowlton, chief executive officer at Nascent State. Knowlton said that Lexmark was undergoing an entirely new branding direction and the Web site would reflect the changes.
