Charlie Kaufman and the Adidas ‘Hello Tomorrow’ spot

It’s a small point, but I’d like to pipe in with my critique of the Adidas ad “Hello Tomorrow.” Joe Alexander of The Martin Agency was correct in comparing this spot to a Charlie Kaufman-penned movie [Best Spots, April 18], but I’d argue that it is less Being John Malkovich and more (actually, almost exactly) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which was brilliantly directed and co-written by Michel Gondry.
