CHICAGO – Leo Burnett/London was assigned local advertising duties for the Hoover Co. in the United Kingdom. The win comes seven months after the agency’s regional European unit won Hoover’s pan-European account from Lowe Howard-Spink Ltd. The win gives Burnett sole creative and media buying and planning responsibilities for Hoover in Europe. Incumbent Abbott Mead Vickers/BBDO also pitched the business.
