Leading Web Advertisers, a New York-based ad-tracking firm founded in 1999, has changed its name to Evaliant Media Resources. The change reflects the company’s plans to extend its core business beyond the Web and into all electronic media advertising, including wireless and other digital platforms.

“To put it simply, LWA just outgrew its name,” said Michael Kubin, co-founder and co-CEO of Evaliant, in a statement. “Our new name says a lot about us: Our objective is to provide significant ‘value’ to our clients by providing the data they need to ‘evaluate’ their strategic marketing decisions.
