Laughlin/Constable Reserves a Table At Morton’s Chain

CHICAGO–Morton’s of Chicago’s growth plans led it to embark upon an agency search that ended at Laughlin/Constable here.
The restaurant chain that started with a single restaurant in Chicago now has 59 eateries including operations in Hong Kong, Singapore and Toronto, with plans for at least a half-dozen more before the end of the year.
L/C beat out Kerker Marketing Communications in Minneapolis and Doe-Anderson Advertising and Public Relations, Louisville, Ky., for the estimated $3-5 million business. L/C will concentrate on general advertising and relationship marketing to Morton’s upper-crust diners.
The account for the past six years was at Elias Savion in Pittsburgh.
