LOS ANGELES – Kresser/Craig, Santa Monica, Calif., says it plans to retain auto expert Terry Foutz in the wake of the Kia of North America account award to competitor Goldberg Moser O’Neill/S.F. Foutz joined the agency 18 months ago with the express intention of pursuing the Kia business, and K/C now hopes to pursue Subaru. ‘Our strategy continues to be to get a car account,’ said Bob Kresser, chairman and ceo. K/C is proceeding with a planned merger with Waring & LaRosa/N.Y. Meanwhile, at Stein Robaire Helm, the other Western finalist in the Kia review, Greg Helm said he forsees no layoffs. The shop had not yet considered any future, auto pursuits, including Subaru.
