Laidlaw Intros Ernestomeda Kitchens

BOSTON The Laidlaw Group introduces the Ernestomeda line of Italian kitchens from high-end designer and importer Water & Fire in a new print campaign.

One headline reads, “Introducing an Italian Masterpiece,” and the ads emphasize the line’s European design and construction, employing simple photography to showcase the kitchens’ style and elegance. The goal: portray the line as the kitchens of choice for consumers, designers, architects and builders, the agency said.

Cindy Laidaw, president of the independent shop in Boston, served as creative director, writing the copy with art director Shawn Scott.

Ads will run in spring issues of Boston Magazine and The Boston Globe Magazine. The shop added the account of Newton, Mass.-based Water & Fire two years ago. Estimated spending is in the mid-six figures.
