K&S Calls Up HomePage.com

Kalis & Savage continues to exercise its Web prowess, picking up HomePage.com.
The Pacific Palisades, Calif., shop won the estimated $12 million account after an informal review, according to sources. There was no incumbent.
“Personal homepages are the next communications ‘killer-app,'” said Mary Lou Fulton, president of HomePage.com, Pasadena, Calif. “Kalis & Savage really understands how homepages will soon become a part of our daily lives.”
“They have a business model that targets both business and consumers, and are the leader in the category,” said agency chairman and creative director Murray Kalis. “We see tremendous growth potential.”
The agency has already created radio spots for the client that begin airing this week. Additional media will include national broadcast, newspaper, print and outdoor advertising targeting general consumers interested in creating their own Web homepage.
K&S’ other online clients include search firm Futurestep.com and Jfax.com.
