CHICAGO – The Kobacker Co. awarded all of its media buying responsibility for its account to SMY Media here. SMY will handle media planning assistance as well as place all broadcast, newspaper and magazine, out-of-home, direct mail, and creative media promotions for all of the company’s retail store divisions: Gussini Shoes, Patrini Shoes, Picway Shoes, and the Shoe Works. The company spent roughly $4 million last year on advertising.
