NEW YORK MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners here said it has added Cheryl Greene as managing partner and director of integrated brand strategies, a new position. She previously spent 16 years at IPG’s Deutsch.
At Kirshenbaum, she starts April 21 and reports to CEO Aaron Reitkopf. She will team with Robin Hafitz, president of Open Mind, Kirshenbaum’s strategic planning unit, to devise and lead integrated strategy across all agency platforms.
Greene’s focus will be on Dotglu and Media Kitchen. She will also manage strategic development on accounts including Edward Jones and Panasonic.
“She is legendary for her business acumen and unparalleled integrated depth of experience, which will translate into profitable opportunities for our clients and our network,” said Reitkopf, in a statement.
Added Greene: “They are far ahead of the competition in regards to full integration.”
At Deutsch, she helped guide strategic development for brands such as Ikea, Lenscrafters, Bank of America, Tanqueray and Tylenol. She joined the shop in 1992 and rose to managing partner, chief strategy officer within five years. For the past two years, she served as a brand and strategy advisor.
