BOSTON Kia Motors America has named four finalists in the review for its public relations account.

Remaining in contention are the six-year incumbent, Pacific Communications Group, Torrance, Calif.; Grey Global Group’s GCI Group and WPP Group’s Cohn & Wolf, both Los Angeles; and PR21, a unit of Edelman Public Relations in Santa Monica, Calif.

Cut from the semifinalist group was Publicis Groupe’s Publicis Dialog in Seattle, according to client director of public relations Kim Custer.

The four remaining shops will make final presentations with the teams they expect to handle the business in mid-July.
