BOSTON Kia Motors America has chosen PR21 for public relations duties following a review, sources said.

The Santa Monica, Calif.-based PR practice, a unit of Edelman Public Relations, bested six-year incumbent Pacific Communications Group, Torrance, Calif., and Grey Global Group’s GCI Group and WPP Group’s Cohn & Wolf, both Los Angeles, in the final round of a review. The client declined comment; officials at the agency could not be reached.
