Kempner Rises to SVP at MDC

MDC Partners has promoted Katie Kempner to svp, corporate communications. In her newly expanded role, she will oversee all communications strategies for MDC and provide strategic communications counsel to all group agencies. Since 1996, she has served as vp, director of agency communications for Crispin Porter + Bogusky, adding vp, corporate communications duties for parent MDC in 2004. For the past four years, she has hosted and produced the popular Internet radio and iTunes podcas “The Hook with Katie Kempner,” which features conversations with thought leaders and journalists in the advertising, marketing, public relations and creative branding arenas.
