J&Y Adds White Castle’s PR in Cincinnati

CHICAGO Fast-food company White Castle has tapped Justice & Young Public Relations to handle its PR needs in the Greater Cincinnati area, according to the shop.

“Our brand is about fun and it’s about a positive experience of good food, good times and good people,” said White Castle marketing director Jamie Richardson in a statement. “We saw much of the same in Justice & Young that mirrors our own contagious and passionate work ethic that went along with the fun and creativity.”

The Cincinnati shop’s work will focus on creating “crave-worthy” events, as well as media relations to expose the Columbus, Ohio-based company to a larger number of potential customers, according to J&Y vice president Roger Roesser.

The value of the assignment was not disclosed. WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson in Detroit handles White Castle’s $15 million advertising account. The company’s tagline is, “What you crave.”
