JWT N.Y. Makes Staffing Moves

NEW YORK JWT here has named William Charnock and Robin Bardolia co-heads of strategic planning.

In this role, Charnock and Bardolia are tasked with managing and growing the department. They will report to Rosemarie Ryan, who is president of the WPP Group agency’s flagship office here.

Charnock and Bardolia take over duties previously handled by Steve LeNeveu, who has left the company to pursue other options, according to JWT.

“Both William and Robin are known for creating strong integrated work and great brand stories,” Ryan said. “They have extensive experience in global brand communications and are skilled at building powerful partnerships with their account, creative and client partners.”

Charnock is an award-winning planner who joined JWT in 2002; he has worked on campaigns for Domino’s, Novell and HSBC. In addition, he currently co-chairs the Jay Chiat Planning Awards and sits on the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ planning committee. Prior to JWT, Charnock held senior positions at BBDO, FCB and Ogilvy & Mather.

Bardolia joins from Coca-Cola, where he served as vp, global creative strategies across all company brands. His agency experience includes stints at Fallon, Ogilvy, Y&R and JWT in London.

Separately, JWT named Lorraine Arado co-director of talent. In this newly created position, Arado will partner with Wendy North, co-director, talent, and will report in to Megwin Finegan, an agency managing director.

Arado joins from Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in New York, where she was a group account director on Kao. North has been at JWT for seven years, most recently serving as creative services director.
