JWT Boosts Planning

NEW YORK JWT, in a continuing effort to expand and remake its account planning department here, has added Cliff Freeman and Partners’ Jessica Navas as a group planning director.

The WPP Group shop has five planners at that level. Navas, 37, will work on JetBlue and the U.S portion of Listerine, the agency said.

Navas, the latest in a series of hires by co-heads of strategic planning Robin Bardolia and William Charnock, spent eight years at MDC Partners’ Cliff Freeman in New York, where she was an evp, strategic planning. She worked on everything from Snapple, Quiznos and Fox Sports to new business pitches.

Since January, Bardolia and Charnock have added five planners to their 40-person department.

In February, Berlin Cameron planning director Sigrid Jakob and Deutsch planning director Jason De Turris joined as planning directors, working on Kimberly-Clark and Domino’s, respectively.

Deutsch director of CRM strategy Anush Prabhu and freelancer Bryan Fuhr arrived in January as experience planning directors. The shop has five such planners who work on accounts as needed.
