A Labor Department report showing the economy added 50,000 fewer jobs in May than in April led to fears of a slowing economy and a late-week downturn. The Dow dropped 29.38 points to close at 11,247.87, down 2.6 percent after gains earlier in the week. The Nasdaq posted a 0.8 percent gain for the week, increasing 16.84 points to close at 2,219.41. Ad stocks closed mixed, with Omnicom closing up 3 percent at 96.06. WPP Group gained 0.6 percent to close at 62.99. Interpublic Group added 4 percent to finish at 9.67. And Publicis posted a slight 1.7 gain to finish at 40.70.
