BOSTON Jager Di Paola Kemp has hired Bill Gregory as director of brand strategy, a new post at the 80-person independent shop. Gregory, 43, reports to David Kemp, director of marketing at the shop in Burlington. Vt., and will also work closely with creative director, Michael Jager.

Gregory most recently ran his own small company Gregory Brand Planning, where he worked with clients BBDO, Coors, Gillette and Microsoft. He has worked for agencies such as independent Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore.,
