Jack Sullivan, Starcom’s out-of-home activation director, has been named chairman of the Traffic Audit Bureau’s board of directors. Sullivan succeeds Andrea MacDonald, president of MacDonald Media.
A member of the TAB board since 1997, Sullivan takes over the board’s leadership at a turning point for the out-of-home industry, just weeks away from rolling out the medium’s first ratings system.
“I am honored to serve in this post during such an important and exciting time for out-of-home,” said Sullivan. “The TAB EYES ON audience measurement system will mean enhanced precision and accountability, providing an improved way of buying and selling OOH media and better substantiate how OOH media can positively benefit marketers.”
In addition to Sullivan’s appointment, the TAB also announced that John Marson, senior manager, media planning for Kraft Foods and Steven Mueller, CEO of Outdoor Services, were named vice chairmen of the board. Duncan Maurer, director of media and production for Pernod Ricard USA was added to the TAB executive committee.
