J. Winsper Picks Up Tedeschi Account

BOSTON J. Winsper & Co. has been tapped by Tedeschi Food Shops for marketing chores.

“We needed a partner that can think big and J. Winsper & Co.’s team has the depth of big brand experience that can elevate our strategic and creative communications to another level,” said Joe Hamza, director of marketing at Tedeschi Food Shops, Rockland, Mass. Estimated billings are in excess of $1 million.

J. Winsper & Co. will handle creative chores for all of Tedeschi’s convenience store chains, which include Tedeschi Food Shops, Li’L Peach and Store 24, including advertising, promotions, media relations and Web-based marketing.

The company operates 220 corporate and franchised stores in four New England states.

The agency’s first work will be the outdoor and collateral material surrounding Tedeschi Food Shops’ sponsorship of this year’s Enchanted Village, an annual Boston-based Christmas extravaganza, which will take place at the Hynes Convention Center starting Dec. 6-Jan. 1.

The Providence, R.I.-based independent agency won the business after a review of undisclosed shops. Various agencies had previously worked on elements of the business on a project basis.
